Fun, custom order of Ukrainian Pysanky eggs for Easter basket tags. The traditional Pysanka egg’s stunning folk pattern is elaborately decorated using a wax-resist method, the art and dying process teeming with tradition and symbolism. This wooden representation is made of 5 layers of 1/8” baltic birch stained in 3 different finish colors and then stacked to achieve the intricately detailed look inherit with these special heritage-based creations. The customer requested her children’s names engraved on the reverse side and stands to display them in her home. I absolutely LOVE it when my customers request unique custom orders like this one that challenges me to create something truly special and memorable for them.
